Support SAKA & Home of Hope

SAKA has set a goal to raise R25 000 for the Home of Hope in Table View at the KFC Summer Kitesurf Series.

This “Big Air” kitesurfing contest takes place in the New Year between 5th and 13th January at Kite Beach . . . depending on the wind. Both local and international kitesurfers will be competing for the highest jump. South Africa’s Joshua Emanuel is the men’s current World Record holder of 29 meters which he set in Table View in December 2017.

With KFC Blouberg being the headline sponsor for the Series, the South African Kitesurfing Association will be donating a portion of all membership fees to the KFC Add Hope Programme which has been dedicated to fighting injustices like childhood hunger since 2009.

Add Hope provides nutritious meals to over 120 000 children from 11 national and 132 local beneficiaries across SA every day, raising just over R492 000 000 for the cause.

Home of Hope is based in Table View and is one of those beneficiaries that are supported by the Add Hope initiative. Home of Hope takes care of children in a single residence foster home, provides education to children with special needs and helps them to become productive and responsible members of the community.
