King of the Air is back
18 Of the world’s finest kiteboarders will be competing for the Red Bull King of the Air trophy 2017 at Big Bay. The event takes place on the windiest day between 21st January and 5th February 2017. This is a spectator event not to miss, full of action, drama, wind and excitement.
Last years winner, Aaron Hadlow (UK), will be hoping for a hat trick this year and Lewis Crathern and Lasse Walker who both had crashes in the 2016 competition will be back in full force looking to get their hands on the trophy. Local favourite, Andries Fourie who placed 6th in last years event has his eyes set on the prize too.
Let’s hope the South Easter plays it’s part this year.
