Holiday fever is in the air and loads of events happening all over Cape Town. Here’s a few suggestions to get you out and about this weekend.

View Church Table View – Night Christmas Market
Over 100 traders selling food, crafts, jewelry, clothing, handbags, pallet furniture and more. There will be entertainment for the whole family that will include a kids play zone, live bands, marimba band, carols by candlelight, a visit from Santa and loads of other fun festivities. Held at View Church Table View on Wood Drive on 15th and 16th December between 5 and 9.30 pm.

Sundowners at !Khwa ttu
Head up the R27 to !Khwa ttu for sundowners, soak in the spectacular views while you enjoy great food and wine while watching a stunning sunset. R80 a person includes a scenic drive and snack platter. Cash bar, strictly no bring your own. More info.

The Three Tenor Christmas Special
Enjoy a night of Christmas carols and some fun and laughter with the Three Tenors at the FUE just off Marine Circle on the beachfront on Friday 15th December from 6.30 pm. A full menu of delicious meals, milkshakes and drinks will be available. For bookings call 083 788 7015.

Darling Summer Beer Festival 
6 Breweries, 3 stand-up comedians, 3 live bands and a Vynil DJ – not to mention the Darling Brew beer that will tapped straight from the brewery tanks into your glass. Held at Darling Brew in Darling on Saturday 16th December from 10am. More info.

Groote Post Country Market
Head to Groote Post Wine Estate this Sunday between 10 am and 3 pm for the Christmas Market. Father Christmas will be at 11 am to surprise the kids. Lots of food, drinks, arts, crafts and unique gifts on sale. A great day out for the entire family.

Just Dogs End of Year, Christmas in the Park
All welcome to join in this Saturday between 10 am and 12 pm at Leadville Dog Park for the Just Dogs end of the year party. Get your furry friend into Christmas gear and join in the four-legged fun. Prizes to be won. More info.

The TOPS at SPAR Wine Show
Wine lovers, head to GrandWest on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December and enjoy a world of wine adventure. A selection of the best wines in the country. More info.

Classic hits by the sea!
