The Little Mermaid
Hosted by Elkanah, the story of The Little Mermaid is one of self discovery, adventure and friendship. It follows the young mermaid, Ariel, who is longing for more than the life she currently has – believing that there must be something greater out there. PAW Quiz Night
Peanut Animal Welfare will be hosting a Quiz Night at the Melkbos Country Club on Friday 21st of July. The theme is Christmas in July so grab your Christmas cheer and a team of friends and enjoy a fun night out. Tickets are R80 per person which includes food. Prizes for the best dressed, tombola and a silent auction. All proceeds go towards Peanut Animal Welfare. Click here for more information.
Kids Holiday Workshop
Get some shopping done while the kids are kept entertained at Sandown Retail Crossing. On Friday 21st July kiddies can decorate a snake between 11am and 1pm and on Saturday, 22nd July between 10am and 12pm there will be an Educational Snake Show. A colouring area will also be open from 10am – 12pm on Saturday.
The Wonderful World Of Disney On Ice
Hosted at Grand West between 19th and 23rd July this show is a treat for the whole family. Join Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy on a walk down memory lane in a colourful celebration of magic, spirit and family fun. All your favourite disney characters in one spectacular show. Battle of Blaauwberg Walk and Talk
The Friends of the BCA invite you to join them on a guided 5-6 km Battlefield Walk & Talk taking place on Saturday, 22nd July in the Blaauwberg Nature Reserve. There will be an overview of the Battle of Blaauwberg, and you will be shown the route taken by the British 1st Brigade on their march from Melkbosstrand into position on 8th January 1806. The talk is led by registered field tour guide Dave Honour who is also an expert on battle sites. Meet at 8am on the dirt road opposite the entrance of Zonnekus Holiday Resort, Morning Star. Killarney Rallycross Testing
The Rallycross Circuit is complete and needs to be tested. These test sessions will be open to all vehicles, provided they meet the minimum safety requirements and pass the vehicle check procedures. Free for spectators all day on Saturday 22nd July at Killarney International Raceway.
Batty Bingo
Head to Enchanted Pizza and Pasta in Parklands on Saturday 22nd July at 7.45 pm and join in an evening of fun and laughter while you play Batty Bingo. Click here for more information.
Plant a Free Pot of Pansies
July is “Sharing is Caring” month at Starke Ayres, West Coast Village where you can pot up a colourful pot of Pansies to take home, to give to a friend, to plant for a child or to share the experience with a loved one. It’s fun, easy and its absolutely free all weekend, every weekend in July.
