Saturday Market at Bloemendal

Bloemendal Wine Estate is the place to be when the family-friendly and fabulous Saturday Market takes place. Experience the beauty of the estate with the whole family, while the kids are enteratined with an obstacle course, slide, jumping castle, games and more.

The Saturday Market is a foodie affair, with delicious offerings from a variety of different food vendors and food trucks, as well as wood fired pizza and sushi from Bon Amis Cafe & Deli‘s kitchen.

Bloemendal’s passionate wine maker, Andri Hanekom, will be there to guide you through a tasting of Bloemendal’s range of award winning wines, or just buy a bottle of your favourite and enjoy it under a shady tree with one of the cheeseboards that will be on offer. Beer lovers can enjoy a cold one in the shady Stella Artois beer tent, away from excitement of the kids play area.

If you prefer to lunch at home, there will be a variety of artisan traders selling cheeses, breads, cured meats and preserves, as well as locally made crafts for those looking for some retail therapy.

Dubmasta China will set the musical tone for the day with his chilled out market-style beats, creating a relaxing atmosphere where you can spend the morning to afternoon.

The market is every Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Entry is free.
