Package-free zone at Pick n Pay

Pick n Pay has launched a new packaging-free zone where shoppers weigh their purchases allowing them to buy a range of products without packaging.

The trial is currently taking place at the newly revamped Pick n Pay Constantia store.

There will be 88 dry grocery products across 15 different categories including products such as cereals, dried fruit, flour, grains, ground coffee beans, nuts, olive oil, vinegar and pasta.

Free paper bags will be on offer and a range of reusable containers for sale and shoppers are encouraged to bring their own containers.
