Did you know there’s an App, MYsaps that enables citizens to send crime tip-offs from the comfort of their own homes?
MySAPS App is a free, crime-reporting mobile application available for smartphones on Google Play Store, Apple App store and for Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) string on featured phones by dialing *134*10111#.
The App is the first of its kind on the continent and was designed to provide South Africans with a new and easy way to access policing services and information.
The new App allows citizens to interact with law enforcement officials more effectively, by:
• providing tip-offs anonymously through the App
• finding the nearest police stations and facilities
• Quick access to all official SAPS Social Media platforms.
