New Coastal Dune Hiking Trail

Join the Friends of Blaauwberg Conservation Area for a 4.4 km guided botanical walk of the new Coastal Dune Hiking Trail. The walk will take around 1 ½ hrs on a straight walk, but for those interested in the plants, allow 3 hrs minimum.

Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers (C.R.E.W.) and Biodiversity staff will provide identification of plants.

Arrive equipped with hiking shoes, hats, sun protection, cameras, West Coast Flower Guide and refreshments.

Meet at the Environmental Education Centre log cabin at Eerste Steen Resort at 9 am on Saturday, 2nd June. Directional map available www.bca.org.za. These walks will take place on the first Saturday of every month until October. 

The event is free for Friends of BCA members. Gate fees apply for non-members. No pets allowed.
