Two Hills Walk

Something different to do on Saturday afternoon . . . why not join in a walk on the Blaauwberg Nature Reserve?

These walks are held at the end of every month in the Blaauwberg Nature Reserve, it’s a unique opportunity to see why it is so important to preserve and conserve the area. Generally the public are not allowed access to this area.

The two hills walk will start at 2pm on Saturday 20th May. If you are interested, meet at the Morningstar entrance of the reserve where you will be led in convoy into the reserve. You will first walk to Kleinberg and then up to Blaauwberg Hill where you are welcome to enjoy a picnic. The walk is around 7kms and easy for the whole family of all fitness levels. You will also be given a brief background talk on the reserve and an overview of the Battle of Blaauwberg.

R30 for public but if you belong to BCA then it’s free.
