SAKA and KFC raise R25k for the Home of Hope

During the course of the 2018/2019 Cape Town kite season, a portion of all SAKA memberships along with additional contributions from the kiting industry went towards the KFC Add Hope Foundation.

Home of Hope, based in Table View was founded in August 2005 by Eleanor Brook. Home of Hope is a beneficiary of KFC’s Add Hope Foundation and is an organisation that takes care of children in a single residence foster home, provides education to children with special needs and helps them to become productive and responsible members of the community.

SAKA is pleased to announce that a cheque for R25 000 was handed over to Eleanor Brook and the Home of Hope raised by combined efforts of the kitesurfing community. Thank you! SAKA looks forward to continuing this relationship in the years to come.
