Power Series – Round 2

The second round of the regional Power Series sponsored by Wingfield Motors takes place at Killarney International Raceway on Saturday 16 March.  Former Formula One driver and Le Mans 24 Hours winner Jan Lammers will be taking part in the action too.

Lammers will share a Ginetta G55, a purpose-built British GT3 sports racing car powered by a 4.35-litre, 525 horsepower Nissan-based V8, with Dr Greg Mills and Gunter Drotschie in the four-hour Campos 600. The Campos 600 is scheduled to start at 4:00pm and end, about 600km of non-stop action later at 8:00pm.

Whether you are a bike or car fan Saturday promises to be a jam-packed day of action and fun for the entire family.

A free shuttle will be available to move you between spectator points and the Clubhouse at round 2 of the Power Series, where the upstairs balcony offers spectacular views of the fastest corner on the circuit, the 140km/h Malmesbury Sweep.

The Trackside Pub and Grill at the Clubhouse and the New Pits Lounge will be serving fine food and liquid refreshments all day and late into the evening while younger fans enjoy the newly upgraded Kiddies Korner at the Clubhouse, with child-minders on duty all day, and their parents relax in the Nursery Room.

Gates open at 6.30 am on Saturday 16 March, with practice and qualifying from 8.00 am and racing from about 10:00am. Book at Computicket or pay at the gate. Free entry for kids under 12.
