1000 Dogs on a Race Track

Join the Moonlight Dog Walk at Killarney this coming Friday 5 October and help set the record of the most dogs on a race track, ever!

The aim is to have 1000 dogs on the track, each receiving a WOOFY BAG upon registration, from Hills.

This event, in aid of the Cape Animal Welfare Forum, is one not to be missed.

A safe, fun family night out. Loads of secure parking. Food stalls, craft beer, cocktails, wine tasting, kiddies pedal karts, jungle gym, jumping castle, craft stalls and live music.

Registration opens from 5:30 pm. Choose the shorter 2km walk or the full track of 3km, with water points along the way. R60 per dog, R30 per adult, kids under 16 free.

If you don’t want to walk, then why not join in the fun anyway, and see all the wagging tails, and enjoy the evening. Or, bring your furries along and have them micro-chipeed for R100.

The ceremony will be opened by Ald. JP Smith, racing commentators will keep you laughing they comment and interview the pooches and their owners on the track, and who knows, perhaps you’ll be on TV as Espresso is filming! You may even spot a celebrity walking his or her furry too.

So get on down to Killarney, this multi-purpose facility and help set this record!
