What’s on this Weekend 24 – 26 November

Time for the weekend baby! We’ve rounded up a couple of events happening in and around Table View to keep you entertained.

Shackleton Ground Run
The SAAF Museum AFB Ysterplaat will be hosting the final Shackleton Ground Run for 2017 on Saturday, 25th November between 9.30 am and 12 pm. Join in and enjoy the incredible noise created by four Rolls Royce Griffon engines at full blast! Grab a few of your friends and donate to the SAAF Museum to keep this beautiful beast roaring for years to come. More info.

Fallen Angels Adoption Day
Fallen Angels will be at Leadville this coming Saturday, 25th November for adoption day. Adopt a cat or dog for only R650, if you adopt a black cat or dog this weekend the price drops to R450.

Summer Saturdays at Hangar 18
Why not hang out at Hangar 18 in Milnerton this Saturday, 25th November. They will be open from 9am to 1pm every Saturday till the end of the year. Ideal for Christmas gift shopping or just for a coffee and catch up with a friend. You can even take part in art and craft workshops. You’re sure to enjoy the Hangar 18 experience. More info.

Kite Industry Demo Day
Head to Kite Beach on Sunday, 26th November from 10am for an industry demo day. There will be a large number of kite brands showcasing their 2018 ranges of kites, boards, harnesses and wetsuits available for testing as well as a number of certified kiteschools who will be able to safely introduce you to the sport! R100 gets you access to test all the product as well as entry into the Kenings Car Van and Truck Hire Eliminator Course Race presented by Volkswagen Table View – a fun fast format where 10 kiters at a time start at the beach racing out to backline around some bouys and back to the shore with the top 5 finishers advancing to the next rounds. Get Lucky Summer (Cape Town Edition)
Music fans you won’t want to miss this one. Hillcrest has a concert of note lined up on Sunday, 26th November between 3 and 8pm. GoodLuck’s  ‘Get Lucky Summer’ concert series promises to be a blast with live performances by GoodLuck,  The Kiffness, Majozi and No Method along with guest DJ’s. More info.

Head up the R27 this Sunday, 26th November for a this Weskus monthly market.  Local arts, crafts and home made foods await you, along with award winning wine. Take the kids, the dogs and the rest of the family and enjoy a relaxing Sunday at this popular wine farm.
