We take a quick look at a couple of events happening around the neighbourhood this weekend.

XR5 Challenge – Final Boost Off with Joshua Emanuel!
Drop by Blouberg beachfront close to Doodles on Friday, 19th January to cheer on the winners of the XR5 Challenge while they attempt to dethrone the world record holder, Joshua Emanuel, during the Final Boost Off in Cape Town.  More info.

The Blowfish Sundowner sessions presents Matt Carstens
Pop into Blowfish Restaurant on Friday 19th January for the Sundowner Sessions where Matt Carstens will be entertaining you between 5.30 and 7.30 pm, with some great original music as well as a few fan favourite covers thrown in for good measure.

Oliver Strempler Live at Viper Lounge
Oliver will be performing live at The Viper Lounge, Table View on Saturday 20th January from 6 1 10 pm playing Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohan and other rock songs. More info.

Sixpack Saturday at Casa do Mar
6 Piece band, Backbeat Band will be performing at Casa do Mar on the beachfront on Saturday 20th January between 9 pm and 1 am.

Milnerton Flea Market
Support local traders and head down to the Milnerton Flea Market, you never know what you might find here. Loads of second hand treasures to find and delicious food stalls. The market is open on Saturday 19th January from 9 am to 2 pm and Sunday 20th from 9am to 3 pm.
