What’s on for the Weekend?

As we head into the festive season, there’s alot going on around Cape Town. Here’s our pick of things to get up to this weekend around Table View.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Meerendal Wine Estate

Depeche Mode Party
Club Trammps presents a real old school Depeche Mode Party on Saturday, 2nd December at the Table View Football Club. Press rewind and go back in time and enjoy a tribute to Depeche Mode and the best hits of the 80s and early 90s. Live dance show by the Boogie Boys and 3 DJs to rock your night. R100 gets you in at the door from 8 pm. More info.

Power Series at Killarney
It’s the final round of the Power Series this Saturday, 2nd December at Killarney International Raceway. Cars and bikes in different categories competing in classes for the day. Sponsored by KFM 94.5  it promises to be a great day out for the whole family. Lots of speed, action and entertainment on the cards. R80 entrance for adults, R40 for under 16’s, under 12’s are free.

Just Kids Market
This is the second Kids fun day and market held at Ou Skip in Melkbos on Saturday 2nd December. A family day out filled with magic and activities for kids of all ages. Stilt walkers, magician, jumping castles, face painting and lots more including a food court with picnic space and locally produced handmade crafts and pre-loved items on sale. Home of Hope Garage Sale
Great deals on household goods, collectibles, toys, baby goods, clothing and more this Saturday 2nd December at the Home of Hope in Fairbridge Road, Flamingo Vlei. Pop in between 9 am and 12 pm for loads of bargains. All proceeds go to the Home of Hope.

Festive Lights Switch-On 2017
Join the City of Cape Town and celebrate summer at the annual Festive Lights Switch-On, taking place on the Grand Parade on Sunday, 3rd Decemeber 2017 from 4 pm. Free open-air concert with over 10 live acts including Freshlyground, Jimmy Nevis and Koos Kombuis.
