What’s On 18 – 20 May

Weekend is almost upon us. If you’re at a loss at what to get up to, take a look at these events happening in the neighbourhood.

Into the Woods
The Drama Lab students are staging a heart-warming musical, Into the Woods Jr, full of song and dance, right here in the heart of Table View. Make your way to 83 Janssens Road on Saturday 19th May at 3 pm. The show runs until Saturday 26th May. More info.

Power Series
Lots of motoring action and spectator fun this Saturday, 19th May at Killarney International Raceway. Classic saloon cars, V8s, 4-hour South African Endurance series and loads more. It’s a day for the entire family to enjoy. Jungle gyms, trampolines, jumping castles, face painting and more for kids entertainment. Take along your braai and set up for the day or visit one of the trackside pubs and food vendors. More info.

The Royal Wedding at The Royal Oak
In true British style, the Royal Oak on Marine Circle will be showing the Royal Wedding. G&T and shooter drink specials. May your way down there for 10.45 am on Saturday, 19th May.

Holistic Workout at The Zen Studio
This fun, playful and interactive workshop forms the third in a series of 4, learning about our ‘three Body Parts’ in Nia terms. Ultimately using your whole body with our own body weight to condition, tone and give your body a holistic workout – all done in your Body’s Way to your Body’s limitation, always seeking pleasure. Hatchetman Duo at Blowfish Restaurant

Soul Sundays
News Café on the beachfront in Table View closes the weekend party with soul. Join DJ Smashy and DJ Dean of Soul at 9 pm this Sunday. Soul Sundays will happen every Sunday until the end of July. More info.
