WastePlan to the Rescue

WastePlan will be assisting the City of Cape Town with the backlog of recycling collection until the new contractor can take over on the 30th of September 2016. Locally affected areas are Blouberg, Table View, Parklands, Sunningdale, Big Bay and Melkbos.

The issue came into play when the The WastePlan contract ran out and the new contractor was not ready to take over. The City was responsible for collections until the contract was extended. All the necessary paperwork is now in order and WastePlan can continue to assist for now with recycling collections.
