7 Chilled things to do this Weekend

Last mad rush before Christmas! If you’re not inundated with parties and family gatherings, we’ve rounded up a few things happening around the neighbourhood this weekend.

Blowfish Sundowner Sessions
Stop by the Blowfish Restaurant this Friday, 22nd December for the Sundowner Sessions where Ruby June will be entertaining you between 5.30 and 7.30 pm with some great original music as well as a few fan favourite covers thrown in for good measure. More info.

Grab a NOB
Hot juicy burgers served on Friday 22nd December outside the Viper Lounge on Marine Circle. The NOB burger guys will be serving their monster burgers between 3 and 9 pm.

Blues meets Rock
Enjoy  a ‘Musical Extravaganza’ guaranteed to get you firing on all cylinders on Friday 22nd December at the Durbanville Golfclub. Pebbleman and Boulevard Blues will be taking you on a journey of classic blues and blues rock. More info.

Milnerton Flea Market
Take a stroll around the market this weekend, you never know what you might find here. The Milnerton Flea Market will be open on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th December. Closed on Christmas Day but will be open again on Boxing Day.

The Shred Christmas Party
Calling all skaters to grab a few friends and join in the party. Held at the Shred Indook Skatepark in Paarden Eiland on Saturday, 23rd December between 1 and 8 pm. Cash for tricks, best fancy dress and vouchers such as restaurant eat outs, weekends away, bar tabs and even a jet ride!  More info.

Live Music at The Blue Peter
What would holidays be without a trip to the Blue Peter? Head on down, grab a sundowner and relax to live music all weekend for sundowners. Grab one of their fabulous pizza’s while you’re there too!

Tribute Fest 2017
Not quite this weekend but if you’re in for a party on Boxing Day head to Hillcrest for the Tribute Fest 2017. All your favourite rock classics for 12 hours. More info.
