Get your Car fit for Summer

We know winter affects your car, but summer takes a toll too. Check out these tips to keep your car neat, clean and running great through the hottest months of the year.

1. CLEAN YOUR CAR INSIDE AND OUT
Give your car a good cleaning! Throw out trash, vacuum the seats and floor, and run it through the car wash. Your car will look like new!

2. CHECK YOUR CAR’S AIR CONDITIONER
Summer is HOT! If you’re going to be driving, be as comfortable as possible and make sure your air conditioner is in good working order.

3. LOOK AT YOUR CAR’S BATTERY
Pop up the bonnet and look for corrosion, rust, leaks, and other signs of wear. Don’t be stranded … replace the battery before your next road trip.

4. CHECK YOUR TYRE PRESSURE
To check your tyre pressure. This is often listed on a sticker inside the driver’s door or on the inside of your fuel flap. Have your tyres checked at your garage when you fill up for fuel.

5. EXAMINE YOUR SPARE TYRE
Avoid surprises. Make sure your spare tyre is in good shape for any tyre emergencies.

6. TOWING
Before a summer haul, make sure your trailer is in working order.
