Foodies Opens in Parklands

Foodies Grocery Factory Shop opened its doors this morning at the old Dragon Mart premises corner Wood Drive and Parklands Main Road, Parklands.

Foodies buy short-dated, dated and damaged non-perishable goods. Most of the products have passed the best before or sell by date or may be in damaged packaging. There is no money-back guarantee however if you’re not happy you may swop to the same value.

Interesting to note a Best Before date is not an “expiry” date. It is an indication of how long the product is likely to remain at peak quality.

Products are limited to a certain amount per customer to prevent bulk buying for re-selling purposes. The staff are extremely efficient and are dealing with the influx of shoppers adequately. Pop in and see for yourself, don’t be shocked if some of the dates are best before 2015.
