Cold front Approaching

We’ve all been praying for rain, and here it comes. The Weather Services office says the Western Cape should brace itself for a cold front and adverse weather conditions expected to make landfall on Wednesday evening 12th April lasting until Thursday.

Forecaster Mmathapelo Makgabutlane said: “We are expecting some rain with the cold front across the province.”

Commuters are advised to take extra caution in the rain as the roads may be busier due to the nationwide bus strikes.

Water restrictions are still in place and water pressure has been dropped in various areas around Cape Town. It will take a number of consecutive winters of good rainfall for our dam levels to recover so continue to use water wisely.
