Extreme Action at Killarney
We’re talking lot’s of extreme action with Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches and many more beasts to wow you. Highlights include the G&H Transport Extreme Supercars where there is a North versus South rivalry as local drivers such as Dawie Joubert in his Lotus take on the best from the rest of the Country including the V12 Aston Martin, the Sasol Global Touring Cars series with local hero Johan Fourie out to win in front of his home crowd.
Other categories include the Engen Volkswagen Polo Cup, Investchem Formula 1600, Hankook Formula Vees, RST Superbikes, MotoMart VW Challenge and the Ashley V8’s & Makita Formula Supercars.
It’s an exciting day out for the whole family with fan walks to meet the drivers and see the cars, a flying display, Corporate Karts for hire on the kart circuit jungle gyms, trampolines, jumping castles, Wipe Out Games, snake shows and more keep the entire family entertained.
Free shuttle service, stalls and vendors to browse through within an array of collectibles and delicious meals. Set up a braai for the day or chill at the New Pits Lounge or clubhouse in the upstairs dining area and balcony, or in the beer garden downstairs. Live music on the PENBEV gig-rig, with craft beer and wine tasting on the clubhouse lawn.
Both the Trackside Pub and Grill and the New Pits Lounge are open to the public and are excellent places to view the action on track while keeping an eye on the live timing and TV’s showing rugby. You won’t miss a thing. The food is excellent and very well priced, with meals from R19.50 you can afford to take the entire family. The kids can play on the lawn or jungle gym and enjoy various entertainment activities, with dedicated child minders so you can relax and enjoy the day with live music on the PENBEV gig-rig, craft beer and wine tasting.
Qualifying is from 8am, with first race at 10.30am and continues until 6pm.
