Table Bay Mall will be hosting the CANSA Shavathon this weekend at the Checkers Court, entrance 3. Show your support for cancer survivors and those suffering and spray, shave or donate this weekend between 9 am and 3 pm. More info.

Wave Event
A strictly strapless wave riding event that will take place in front of the Pakalolo Bar in Table View over Saturday 24th and Sunday, 25th February. Make your way down there and support local kitesurfers battling it out for the R15 000 prize money.

Corona brings you DJ Cndo
Be the Beat on Saturday night, 24th February at News Cafe in Table View. Corona and News Cafe Table View present the Finest lady of House, Dj cndo. The first lady of Afrotainment needs no introduction, she has been setting both local and international stages alight with her electrifying mixes. Other great DJs in the line-up. More info.

Elkanah House Discovery Open Day
The Blouberg campus of Elkanah is hosting a discovery open day on Saturday, 25th February between 9.30 am and 12 pm. Interactive campus tours, food stalls, market, pony rides, face painting, glitter tattoos and sand art. Pop in and see what Elkanah is all about. More info.

Supercar Track Day
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to drive a Supercar at pace around a race track then here’s your opportunity. The team at Supercar Drive Days is offering a number of high powered Supercars for you to test out this weekend. More info.

Cape Town Prawn Festival
Not quite Table View but worth a trip out to Kenilworth is the annual Prawn Festival held at the Kenilworth Race Track on Saturday, 24th February. Stalls with delicious prawns and seafood to satisfy the appetitie. Free entry. More info.

Groote Post Country Market
Head up the R27 on Sunday, 25th February to Groote Post Wine Estate for the monthly market. Held between 10 am and 3 pm here you will find arts and crafts, food stalls, great wine and other treasures in store. The kids will be kept busy with a wide variety of kiddies’ activities – tractor rides, glitter tattoos, guided horse rides and the popular playground. More info.

Natural Goods Market Century City
Fantastic food, draft and craft beer, organic wine and bubbly, G&T’s, ice cold drinks, gorgeous crafts, and great entertainment for small people, and big ones too. Held on Sunday, 25th February between 9 am and 2 pm. More info.
