Weather is looking swell this weekend with a high of 23°c on Sunday. Here’s our pick of things to get up to.

Christmas in July Tapas
Head to Hillcrest Estate for Tapas and live music with Benjamin Peacefull on Friday 28th July from 6pm. Chef Debbie Bothma will be strutting her stuff in the kitchen at Hillcrest Restaurant! You wont find a better start to the weekend. To book call 021 975 2346.

Century City Night Market
Some of Cape Town’s hottest foodies, artisans and musicians will once again cosy up under the Bedouin tents at Intaka Island this Friday 28th July. Visitors to the Night Market will be welcomed with crackling fires, warm scents, draft beer, bubbles, cider, red wine, gluhwein, live music and comfort food. Why not pop in after work and enjoy a glass of bubbles or draft beer and grab a bite to eat. The market runs from 4pm – 9pm.

Elkanah House Discovery Day
Elkanah House invites you to join them at their Blouberg Campus Open Day on Saturday, 29 July between 9am and 11am to give the community an opportunity to experience child’s play in their unique indoor/outdoor learning environment. There will be entertainment for the children, food stalls and great coffee.

All Tar Rally at Killarney
Held on Friday 28th July and Saturday 29th July, the All Tar Rally will consist of 9 Stages. Two will be run on Friday evening starting at 6pm and seven on Saturday morning, starting at 9am. Great family entertainment as Clubmans cars will be going flatout to beat the rally cars. Jumping castle and karts for the kids as well as a special guest appearance by the comedian Gary Naidoo. The Black Cat Bones meet Boulevard Blues
Forget your troubles and prepare to rock on Saturday 29th of July at Hillcrest Quarry when 2 heavyweight blues rockers come together and double bill your thrill. Black Cat Bones and Boulevard Blues will be refueling your mojo and delivering ‘Sonic Nirvana’. Show starts at 8pm. Click here for more information.

Craig Lucas Homecoming
Join Heart FM at Canal Walk Centre Court on Saturday 29 July 2017 between 12 and 2pm to welcome home the winner of the 2017 edition of The Voice South Africa – Craig Lucas.  Craig will be joined on stage by Jeremy Olivier, Robin Pieters and Celest Schoeman – all previous contestants on The Voice SA. Show your support for local talent and get down to Canal Walk. Don’t forget to grab your autographed postcard!

Market at The Barn
Head to Durbanville on Sunday 30th July and browse around the indoor market between 10am and 3pm. Lots of stylish clothing, arts and crafts and food stalls. Free entrance. Click here for more information.
