North side of Big Bay open to the Public

Big Bay Beach was closed in early June due to storm damage on the already fragile beach. Officials have now opened up the North side of the beach for public access.

Residents and visitors should exercise caution and be aware that Big Bay Beach is still under rehabilitation.

“I urge all residents and visitors to the beach area to please take caution and only access the permitted area. We are working hard and fast to provide another access on the South side of the Life Savers Club.” – Ward 23 Councillor – Nora Grose
