Twelve high school bands will be performing at the V&A Waterfront outdoor Amphitheatre tonight. Show your support for the Parklands College Jazz Band. More info here.

St Patrick’s Day Quiz Night
Held at the Melkbos Country Club from 6.30pm, Friday 17th March, in support of Peanut Animal Welfare. Enjoy and entertaining evening of quizzing with a meal for R60. Teams of 4 – 8 Players. There will be a silent auction and prizes for the best dressed. More information here.

7Stars Kiteboard Series
Head to the Kite Beach this weekend, 18 & 19th March for kiteboarding action at Round 3 of the 7Stars Kiteboard Series. The best male and female kiteboarders from all over SA plus a few international riders will compete in the Freestyle and Wave Riding disciplines.

Stock Car Racing
The Cape Hell Drivers will be burning some rubber Saturday 18th March at Killarney Racetrack. 1st Leg of the regional champtionship. Gates open at 2pm, racing starts at 3.30pm. R70 per person. Click here for more info.

The Cape Town Carnival
Head into town to the Fan Walk Saturday 18th March for The Cape Town Carnival.  Join the extravagant parade of costumed performers, musicians and moving floats. The fun starts at 7pm. More info here.

Free Concert in the Park
Freshlyground, The Rudimentals & Skyscrapers will perform live, free of charge on Sunday 19th March at De Wall Park. Pack a picnic and spend your Sunday afternoon between 3 and 6pm listening to some of SA’s greatest artists.
