The Wedding Show at Canal Walk
Planning your wedding? Need some inspiration. Head to the Centre Court at Canal Walk this weekend for all things “I do”.  Be inspired by beautiful hair and make-up ideas, gorgeous dresses, the best venues, photography and videography, flowers and decor displays, cakes, stationery and so much more. Entrance is fee. All weekend between 9am and 9pm.

Saturday Morning Bootcamp
Every Saturday, Look Better Naked on Blaauwberg Road host a Bootcamp at 7am. R50 gets you in but you need to book in advance. Click here to book your spot.

Ultimate X Festival
Motocross, BMX and skateboarding fans will enjoy a full day of extreme sports at the Ultimate X Festival held at GrandWest Casino on Saturday 25 February. Join in the adrenaline rush as you watch these daredevils give it their all. Tickets from R120. Click here for more information.

Cape Town Prawn Festival
A bit out of the neighbourhood but if you’re a prawn lover, you cannot miss this one at Kenilworth Racecourse this Saturday 25th February from 11am. Feast on 1kg of prawns with a sauce and rice or chips for R169. Take in all the excitement of the Vasco Prix Du Cap (Gr 3) as well as other exciting horse racing action. Kids entertainment, DJ plus a beer garden. Entrance to the event is R30 per person, R10 for under-18s.

Off the Grid Music Festival
Held at Camphill Village West Coast this Saturday 25th February. Enjoy the day outdoors listening to local talent like Freshlyground, Majozi, Albert Frost, Jackal and the Wind and Akhona. The gates open at 1pm and bands will be performing from 5pm. Overnight camping available. Click here for more info.

West Coast Craft Market
Support local traders on Sunday 26th February from 10am to 3pm at the Melkbosstrand Country Club. Over 60 stalls of arts, crafts and food. Face painting and jumping castle for the children. Century City Natural Goods Market
Fantastic food, crafts, and great entertainment for small people, and big ones too at the Century City Natural Goods Market this Sunday 26th February from 9am til 2pm. Sip on some bubbles or craft beer while you listen to Irish Folk music while the kids are entertained. There really is alot going on at this market. Click here for more information.

There is also the Groote Post Country Market at Groote Post Vineyards on Sunday from 10am and if you’re a Gin and Tonic lover, head down to The Old Biscuit Mill for the Gin & Tonic Festival from 11am on Sunday. Whatever you do, have a great one!
