Blaauwberg Two Hills Walk

The Friends of the BCA invite you to join the 6 km Blaauwberg Two Hills Walk on Saturday 18th February. The route is not open to the public so this is a unique opportunity to see the Reserve fauna and flora, the site where the Battle of Blaauwberg took place, the Cape Flats Sand Plain Fynbos Restoration projects and other developments in the Blaauwberg Nature Reserve.

Meet at 8am at the Morningstar entrance to the Blaauwberg Reserve on the eastern side of Blaauwberg Hill (just off the N7). The walk will finish by latest 12h30.

Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Don’t forget the hat, sunscreen lotion and drinking water. You are welcome to bring something to eat and drink for a picnic on Blaauwberg Hill.

The event is free for Friends of BCA members. Cost is R30 for non-members. The walk is limited to 25 people, so booking is essential.
