Coffee in a Cone

#coffeeinacone is the latest trend to hit the streets of Cape Town. Hailing from The Grind Coffee Company in Johannesburg, #coffeeinacone is branded as “The World’s Most Instgrammable Coffee.” The mastermind behind this coffee concept is marketing exec and barista, Dayne Levinrad who has patented the idea. 

#coffeeinacone has revolutionized the coffee game by combining ice cream, coffee, and chocolate into one product. The cone is coated in a special chocolate compound made from various types of cacao in order to make it leak-proof. You’ll have around 10 minutes before the cone starts leaking but hey, who’s gonna take 10 minutes to consume one of these?

“We used the cone as a way to become an Instagrammable product,” Levinrad told CNN. “When people come in, they take a selfie and tag #coffeeinacone.” The hastag has been used over a million times and is gaining momentum online.
