Oyster and Champagne Festival
Dress in white and gold and head to Hillcrest Quarry this weekend for the elegant Oyster and Champagne Festival. For R120 you’ll get an engraved, branded flute glass and 5 tasting tickets, more tasting tickets available at R10 each. Food and drink stalls, refreshments and a cash bar. Picnic lunch on Blaauwberg Hill
Join the Friends of Blaauwberg Conservation area on Saturday morning at 9.30 for a Heritage Talk followed by a walk up Blaauwberg Hill. Keynote speaker and published author, Professor John Parkington will give a presentation and introduce his latest book “First People, ancestors of the San”. Wine on the River

Power Series at Killarney
Support local drivers this Saturday 15th October at the Power Series at Killarney International Raceway. Flat out racing to decide the overall champs. Fun filled day for the family with a kids play area, braais, stalls, vendors and live music. Complimentary shuttle to get you where you want to go on the track too. Zone 7 MX Regional/Club Race
It’s the last MX regional and club race at Zone 7 for the year on Saturday. You’re sure to be entertained watching these daring riders. Classes include, 50cc pro, newbies, quads, VMX, ladies, endure +++. Kids play area and a splash pool will make for an entertaining day out with the family. No entrance fee. More information here.
