Educational Holiday Programme

During the June/July school holidays Blaauwberg and Table Bay Nature Reserves will be presenting a fun and entertaining holiday programme. The programme will run over a period of two weeks, from Monday 4 July to Thursday 14 July.

The aim of the holiday programme is to teach children about the environment in a fun but educational way with activities such as arts and crafts and playing theme based games. Some past programmes included themes on insects, tortoises/turtles/terrapins, rocky shores and many more. The programme ends with the popular “hack-n-hike” at Blaauwberg Nature Reserve where the children help remove invasive alien plants.
