The Galileo Open Air Cinema
Great weather tonight (8th April) for the screening of Mamma Mia at Central Park, Century City. If you can’t make tonight get down to Boschendal Wine Estate, Saturday 9th April where you’ll get to watch the classic, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Cape Town Classic Beach Run Series – Big Bay
Get your run on Saturday morning, 9th April at Big Bay, starting at 10am. Choose from the 3km, 7km or 15km. Starting point outside the lifesavers club at Eden on the Bay heading out towards Melkbos, start and finish at the same point. Entry fee is R80 for all distances. Click here for more info.
The Big Blues Meets Rock Festival
Get ready to be rocked, 9 blues and rock bands lined up to rock Hillcrest Quarry, Saturday 9th April from 12pm. Jesse Jordan, Mark Haze and The Blues Broers are just a few of the acts on the line-up plus Dan Patlansky officially launches his new album “Introvertigo” at the festival. No need to trek too far, there are some fabulous award winning wine farms just up the road in Durbanville. The Durbanville Wine Valley consists of twelve wineries, each offering the finest in wines, and complemented with some of the best fine dining restaurants and intimate country kitchens in the region. DriftCity at The Grand Parade
South Africa’s top drifters will gather at The Grand Parade on Sunday morning from 10am to compete on a technical course, they’ll be revving head to head combining speed, smoke, angle and timing to see who’s king of the drifters.
