New Station Commander for Table View Police Station

Table View Police Station welcomed Colonel Junaid Alcock, who took the reigns over from Brigadier Lindiwe Dyantyi on Monday, 12 December 2022.

Colonel Alcock joined the South African Police Service in 1989. He was the Station Commander of Harare Police Station in the Western Cape, prior to his transfer to Table View. Prior to Harare, he was stationed at Bishop Lavis; Athlone and Lingelethu West. Colonel Alcock obtained a B-Tech in Policing in 2005 and has a National Diploma in Police Administration. He is an avid bowling player, who is part of the Western Province Bowling team. He loves sports and supports the Springboks. He is married and a devout Muslim.

He loves to work closely with his members on the station level and is looking forward to continuing with this commitment. He pledges his commitment to all stakeholders and partnerships in the Table View precinct and extends invitations to the informal settlements for a closer working relationship.
