The Sharks broke the winning streak of the Blue Bulls by beating the log leaders 32-29. The Natal Sharks is now in second position with Province sitting on the third spot and the Golden Lions in fourth place on the table. This upcoming weekend sees the Pumas taking on Free State Cheetahs on Friday. Saturday sees Griquas is playing against the Blue Bulls at 16:30 and the biggest match of the weekend taking place at 19:00 between the Golden Lions and the Natal Sharks at Ellis Park Stadium.
