Six Strings Down – Rock ‘n Blues
Six Strings Down will rock the Flaming Fox in Parklands Centre, Link Road, Parklands on Friday 16th. Pop in and listen to the sublime blues and rock and enjoy all kinds of specials and prizes. Show starts at 8 pm, no entrance fee.
LaLa Land Open Air Movie
The Galileo Open Air Cinema presents La La Land at Central Park at Century City on Friday 16th February. Enjoy this popular movie under the stars. Gates open at 6 pm, movie starts at 8 pm. Power Series Round 1
Head to Killarney International Raceway on Saturday 17th February for all day long action from rumbling V8s to howling bikes. Lots of entertainment, free shuttle service, food stalls, jumping castle and extra entertainment to keep the little ones busy. Take your braai along and shack up for the day too if you like.
Wave Event
This kitesurfing event takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday, 18th February at Pakalolo Table View. With R15 000 prize money up for grabs you’ll get to see some daring manoevres from top class kitesurfers. More info.
The Flip Side Live
If you enjoy acoustic music from the Woodstock era through to present times, you will be in good company at the Viper Lounge on Saturday 17th February from 7 pm. Enjoy three part vocal harmonies complemented by three part guitar harmonies, popular covers and more. More info.
Table View Community Cleanup
Meet at the Parklands SAPS on Saturday 17th February at 8.30 am and help local neighbourhood watch teams and the general public on a cleanup of the area. Take along a pair of gloves, the cleanup ends at 11.00 am.
Major Attention Live at Doodles
Cape Town’s Rocking Duo will be blasting some epic tunes at Doodles Beachfront on Saturday 17th February from 7 pm.
Half Price Sunday Sushi
