7Stars Kiteboard Series
Head to the Kite Beach this weekend, 18 & 19th March for kiteboarding action at Round 3 of the 7Stars Kiteboard Series. The best male and female kiteboarders from all over SA plus a few international riders will compete in the Freestyle and Wave Riding disciplines.
The weekend will provide lots of spectator satisfaction with riders showing off their freestyle and wave riding expertise. Expect heaps of action with jumps, tricks and world class surfing maneuvers.
Riders will be competing for cash prizes in Junior, Open Women, Open Men and Masters. Riders will also be contributing to a points system to tally an overall winner of the Series. Not only will these points be crucial for the overall title of South African Champion but it will also indicate if the rider has achieved enough points to be awarded Provincial Colours by Sailing South Africa.
Organisers are hoping to get cracking from 9am but as Mother Nature dictates it’s hard to judge an exact time. Let’s hope she brings the wind in time . . . show your support!
