Love Cake Café is a neighbourhood café situated in Burgundy Estate, Plattekloof. As our name suggests, we love cake. We enjoy trying (mostly tasting) new recipes and are continually on the lookout for something new to bake! The fun part is putting the cake through our strict quality assurance test – no cake goes to the display table without us tasting it! Our Carrot Cake is out of this world – so we are told – and locals have become addicted to the ever popular Red Velvet cake.

Delicious “honest” food is served in a relaxed and beautiful setting. Breakfast is served all day and the lunch menu includes salads, wraps, burgers, pies and delicious quiches. Our food is tasty and just honestly from the heart!

Pop in for our High Tea, a fancy affair with beautifully set tables, home-made cakes, tiers filled with delectable sweet and savoury treats served with delicious coffee made from signature blend beans from local roasters, Beans for Africa. Cakes made to order.
