R100 per chip (No annual fees)

We are having another microchipping event for the year at The Tableview Vetshop on the 23rd of February from 09:00-13:00. We host monthly Microchipping events to spread awareness on this important issue and to help as many owners as possible to chip their animals to prevent them from getting permanently lost.

A microchip implant is an identifying integrated circuit placed under the skin of an animal. The chip, about the size of a large grain of rice, uses passive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. The microchip number is recorded on a microchip database registry with details about the animal and owner. Pet owners need to ensure their contact details are recorded on the database against their pet’s microchip number. This ensures whenever an animal is lost that any vet or shelter will immediately be able to scan the animal and find the owner details to reunite them as soon as possible.

We use GetMeKnown microchips which will only cost you R100 with no annual fees. The getmeknown website is very user-friendly and it is very easy to keep all of your details up to date.
